Community Empowerment
At The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Rivers of Joy Dagenham, we believe the Church should be a source of hope, support and positive transformation within the community.
Our Community Empowerment programmes are designed to bring people together, meet practical needs and equip individuals and families to live healthier, stronger and more fulfilled lives.
Community Get-Togethers
We organise community gatherings where people can connect, build meaningful relationships and enjoy a welcoming environment. These events help reduce isolation and create a stronger sense of belonging within our community.
Health and Wellbeing
We promote healthy living through health awareness programmes, wellbeing discussions and access to helpful information. Our aim is to encourage individuals and families to take positive steps towards improving their physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
Supporting the Homeless and Those in Need
We are committed to supporting homeless people and individuals facing hardship. Through practical assistance, outreach and compassionate care, we aim to restore dignity and provide hope to those experiencing difficult circumstances.
Educating and Equipping Young Adults
We support young adults through mentoring, personal development, career guidance, employability training and life-skills education. Our goal is to help them discover their potential, make responsible decisions and prepare for a successful future.
Marriage and Family Support
Strong families build strong communities. We provide biblical and practical marriage guidance to help couples improve communication, resolve challenges and build healthy, loving and lasting relationships.
Food Bank Support
Our food bank provides essential food items to individuals and families experiencing financial hardship. We believe no one in our community should have to face hunger alone, and we are dedicated to supporting those who need a helping hand.
Supporting Elderly People and Widows
We provide care, companionship and practical support to elderly people and widows within our community. Through regular visits, fellowship and community activities, we help them feel valued, connected and supported.
Building a Stronger Community Together
At RCCG Rivers of Joy Dagenham, everyone is welcome. Whether you need support, would like to volunteer or want to contribute to our community programmes, there is a place for you.
Together, we can share hope, strengthen families, empower young people and create a caring community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
